I am surprised by the large number of non-Norwegians who have clicked on links to my review and posts about Magnar Kartveit’s Norwegian book Gud, Pest og Plage, where he attempts to explain the Old Testament’s difficult texts.
When I originally wrote the extra posts, I figured only Norwegians would be interested so I left his quotes in Norwegian. When I uploaded the posts, they had been left private for over a year, so I didn’t think everyone would be updated by email.
Boy, was I wrong.
I have since gone through and translated all of the Norwegian into English. I have left the Norwegian as well for any Norwegian-speakers who want to read what Kartveit actually wrote.
