In typical AI fashion, the words in the picture don’t make sense, but you get the idea!

Two weeks and two days ago I had a poll to see what kind of content you would like to see on my blog.

  1. Book-Centered Articles (37.5%)
  2. Popular Level Books (25%)
  3. Theological Topics (12.5%)
  4. A Scholar’s Devotion (12.5%)
  5. Compare/Contrast Articles (12.5%)

So the majority would like to see more articles on the books I’m reading and reviewing, as well as some more popular books.

For example, I could review Crossway’s new A Heart Aflame for God by Matthew Bingham, compare and contrast (#5) it with Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer (#2), which would also be a book-centered article about both of them (#1).

Three birds with one stone.

I’ve made a list of possible idas for upcoming books, and I’ll try to get more of them up. I am reading The Gospel of Mark’s Judaism and the Death of Christ as Ransom for Many, an interesting take on Mark’s Gospel somewhat “within Judaism” (only without using that term), and that’s something that would be fun to write about because it’s so different that what one normally finds in Markan commentaries.

I would like to start up A Scholar’s Devotion again, but at least now I know the most favored posts are ones that are based on topics in the different books I am reviewing.
